The following professorship is to be filled at the earliest possible date in the Department of Design at the Design Campus in Trier:
The course is part of the accredited Bachelor's degree course (6 semesters) and Master's degree course (4 semesters) in Architecture in the Department of Design, Architecture course. The Bachelor's program teaches the basics of sustainable urban planning, urban design and planning law. In the Master's program, topics such as climate change, social aspects, new forms of living and working as well as densification potential in the context of sustainable urban development are dealt with in depth.
Commitment to research, development and interdisciplinary cooperation is a prerequisite.
Courses are to be offered in German and if required also in English.
In addition to a strong commitment to teaching, active participation in the university’s academic self-governance is expected.
The state of Rhineland-Palatinate and Trier University of Applied Sciences support a supervision model that requires a high level of faculty presence at the university.
